I'm using DNN version 5.01.00 on Vista Business with IIS 7

It work all correctly,  BUT  if I change web  config adding red string  urlformat="humanfriendly"  the  site doesnt'work :

    <friendlyUrl defaultProvider="DNNFriendlyUrl">
      <providers>
        <clear />
        <add name="DNNFriendlyUrl" type="DotNetNuke.Services.Url.FriendlyUrl.DNNFriendlyUrlProvider, DotNetNuke.HttpModules" includePageName="true" regexMatch="[^a-zA-Z0-9 _-]"  urlformat="humanfriendly" />
      </providers>
    </friendlyUrl>

I've solved problem using  a web server on standard port 80 http://localhost,

if  I  use  a  web server on a different port localhost:90  it  work correctly  BUT  only without urlformat="humanfriendly"

 Can you help me to solve  the problem on different port?

Thank you Alessio

Alessio : can you describe your error better?  When you say 'doesn't work' ; what do you mean?  Are you getting a 404 error for your page, or some other type of error?

Did you try adding in a different portal alias for localhost:90?

I've posted this issue previously.  It isn't going to work if you set up to use port number in url (in web.config).  Adding an alias won't solve the issue either.  Core team is aware, but I'm under the impression it wasn't a high priority.  But, when I reported the issue it was only an issue using "localhost" in a development environment.  This shouldn't be an issue for a live website actually using a domainname.com setup.  With localhost using port numbers, you cannot use human friendly url's or you'll get 404 error for just about all pages.  Human friendly url's for now can only be used with a domainname.com installation/setup.
