Unauthenticated users are allowed to see several pages right after to get to my site. The pages just describe the site and why you would want to join. When they log in, I am no longer allowing those pages to be accessible to registered users. Here’s the problem. When they initially browse out to the site (unauthenticated) they may go to page 2. Then, they click login. ReturnURL is now set to Page 2. They log in and see this message: “You do not have access to view this tab within the portal.” Is there any way to disable Returnurl feature during logon process? Or any other way to avoid this problem? Thanks a lot, Ziggy

create a new page (not contained in menu), place "User accounts" module on it and grant view permissions to all users.

In site settings, specify this page as login page.

Thanks for your response Sebastian but even after following your directions I am still having the same issue. After I click on the login link, returnurl is still present and I am still receiving the same error message. I am using DNN 5.1.1. Just to clarify. I do not have “User Accounts” module. I think you meant “Account Login”, correct? Thanks, Ziggy

yes, "Account Login" is correct module and you need to specify page after login in Admin :: User Accounts, command "User Settings".
