Hi all,

When I tried to create a new folder under my portal in file manager it gave me the following error:

Request for the permission of type \'System.Security.Permissions.FileIOPermission, mscorlib, Version=2.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b77a5c561934e089\' failed.

It used to work fine. For some reason it stop working. ASPNET account already got write access
Thanks for any help

What are all the permissions you have set for the portals/x folder?

Also, what trust level is set in the web.config/on the server?

This is a definitely a permissions error, something is preventing .Net from writing.

I changed the trust level to Full and it works again. Weird, it used to work with trust level = Medium.

FileIO permissions usually need to be granted on FileSystem to the ASP.Net account - maybe they are not properly set for the portals subdirectory tree, e.g. due to ftp upload.
