 Hello all,

Here is a simple question, but I can't find a solution in the forum, sorry if it was already ask : I've created a Security Role for a list of accounts which can edit all pages in the site (but don't have admin rights or host rights).

When we connect wich such account, we can edit existing module, add existing module, but we can't add a new module in the page. In fact, only admin can add new modules in a page and I don't know why... How could I manage who can add new modules and to manage which modules are available for this security role.

Thank you for your help,

Jocelyn

In host :: Extensions you need to grant "Publish" permissions for the module definitions to your role to list them in dropdownlist.

I can't find this anywhere (module definitions to your role to list them in dropdownlist)! Could you please provide more details about this dropdownlist.

Only admin/host/(user with administrator role) have add module permission.

P.S. Curent Version : DNN 05.01.01.

I was having a problem finding this also.  I found that it's under Admin -> Extensions, not Host -> Extensions.

1) Go to the Admin -> Extensions page (not Host -> Extensions)
2) Click the pencil next to the module.
3) In the top section "Extension Settings", there should be a list of roles.  Put a check-mark in the page editor roles you want the module to show up for.

I am sorry, Leslie is correct, you have to look into Extensions in Admin menu.
