I have a site that was running 4.8.0, I've been trying to bring it up to 5.1.1 or 4.9.4 at the least. However, I have not been able to upgrade past 4.9.0 without the installation erroring out. In order to keep the site available, I have had to restore the files and database. However, I'd still like to get this site caught up. In short: next time I attempt an upgrade that fails, what log files / error reports can I reference here that will help identify the source of the problem? The site is running the core installation and the only 3rd party module has been fully uninstalled (needed to be upgraded anyway, and I removed it during one of my attempts to upgrade).  If I remember correctly, during the attempted 4.9.0 > 5.1.1 update, the installation errored out in the "Upgrading 5.0.0 files" (far from verbose, I'll have more soon) step.

Thoughts?
