Did you follow the instructions here - http://www.aboutdnn.com/Blog/tabid/76/entryid/6/How-to-add-modules-source-package-to-DNN-development-environment.aspx ?

I've supplied the link that I think Raghu was pointing at in his previous post.

OK I followed the instructions in the link but yet still getting the same type of errors

Error 17 The referenced assembly "C:\Extreme\Website\DesktopModules\Events\Bin\DotNetNuke.Events.ScheduleControl.dll" was not found. If this assembly is produced by another one of your projects, please make sure to build that project before building this one. DotNetNuke.Events

Error 18 The referenced assembly "C:\Extreme\Website\DesktopModules\Events\Bin\DotNetNuke.Events.WebControls.dll" was not found. If this assembly is produced by another one of your projects, please make sure to build that project before building this one. DotNetNuke.Events

Those two DLLs are generated by two projects in the overall Events Solution. If you don't see them in your solution browser in Visual Studio you have opened the Events project file, not the solution. You need to build these (and the SQLDataProvider) or point the references to where they will exist in you site bin file which should be "C:\Extreme\Website\bin"

Cheers
Roger

Hi Jean Paul,

It doesn't look like you have opened the Events Solution, but have created a new one. In any case, assuming you don't want to modify the Schedule or Web control, you need to go to the References folder in the Events project, and add the reference to those DLLs there. It is the Events project that has the error, and needs to know where the DLLs are. You will then need a reference to the Events dll from the SQLDataProvider project, which you must go to the References folder in the SQLDataProvider project to add.

To be honest you should be asking Visual Studio questions in the Extending It forums, since these are more likely to guide on how to use the tools.

Cheers
Roger
