OK, I'm looking into it. I'll let you know if I come up with a workaround.

Cheers

I'm still having the same issue.  It also seems to manifest itself in the OpenID login -- that fails as well.  Was there some fundamental change to having some permissions appear in version 5 when in prior versions the above list of specific permissions wasn't part of the base install?

That is, if you take away your permissions settings, can you replicate the error on your site?

Under host settings, my permissions are none.  I don't recall doing anything to change these settings during the original install of version 4.x through the upgrade to version 5.1.1.  How does one go about setting these host permissions (I presume in the web.config file) to something other than the default?  If you change your settings back to 'none', does this error appear in your environment?

I've been trying to replicate by removing the Permissions, but unfortunately my dev machine just runs at 100% cpu for ever when I change it's trust settings. So one of the othger team members is going to look at it.

Cheers
Roger

I would guess that your host has configured the permissions in machine.config. May be worth asking what they have done to move it from the standard config.

Cheers
