i have begun a search to see if there is a way to add multiple pages, and possibly with copies of other pages as child pages, in one or  2 steps. i guess i am curious if there is a module that can do this, or if people would use a SQL script to accomplish.

and hopefully i asked this in a way that people wil lactualyl understand what i am even asking.

You may want to look into page templates...

ok, here is a current site i am working on.

i have 50 states broken up into 3 regions. each state has 8 child pages. now making 3 region pages is easy. 50 pages, time consuming but not that bad. but the 400 child pages of which most of the templete information is identical between just 8 pages..... call me lazy, lol. i dont wanna!!!!

i have used templates before. that helps. but lets say i have 1 state and all 8 child pages already to use as templates. is there way to add all 9 pages at once? while changing the parent page and leaving the child page names the same. and maintaining the layout. would a module do this, or is a SQL script faster/better?

does that help? any more info that anyone may need?

i have a test build portal and i have uploaded work so far at:

www.donsofar.com/v3demo

that way you may be able to see what i am trying to accomplish.

and what the heck is up with the weird page load? i mean it is annoying witht he banner logo duplicating the entire page then the page loads properly. or at lest i hope that is not happening to anyone else. even with it being a test portal, it would be good info to know what i did wrong.

BTW, version 4.9.4.
