The list of providers on the other end of that URL is from the late v3 / early v4 era.

The store does handle both Authorize.Net and PayPal, but that has no effect on what the core offers in support of site registration payment.

The WROX book Professional DNN4 indicates that there WILL be a "more robust eCommerce API" forthcoming, yet WROX Professional DNN5 offers less of a commitment.

eCommerce is a hot (and sore) topic with DNN, just ask AspDotNetStorefront.

But, I think the sky is brightenoing on all fronts, not the least of which is having a solid audit capability built into DNN5.

Without a doubt, we have been watching anxiously for the past year+ after we heard that ASPDNSF and DNN were pairing up. Unfortunately, we still haven't seen a solution we can provide to our clients. The primary issue is the lack of Visa certification, which I can only assume is due to the authentication system issues (ASPDNSF having much more robust requirements for passwords, authentication, etc.). I'm also sure it's not easy to get the two products to mesh when they are both improving and upgrading so frequently (not a bad thing).  The current ML/DNN version is compatible with 4.9.3 but many of us are already moving on to DNN5. Still, we have worked with both technologies (DNN and ASPDNSF) for years now and will still support both platforms independantly, we'd just really like to see a certifiable version in the near future.

There was quite a bit of bantering on this about 1 1/2 months ago, not sure if you saw it. There were some interesting perspectives, especially from the ASPDNSF crew.

Regarding certification, the last I read sounded like a he said / she said, with each camp saying they were pretty much waiting on the other.

I would find it difficult to understand if Shaun doesn't clarify the stand at Open Force (hint) as to where ASPDNSF/eCommerce fits into the big equation.

It also makes me wonder what other CMSs are going through - anyone from the Joomla camp care to comment?
