I'm using Events 5.0.1.  I would like to adjust the width of the tool tip window.  Please advise how I can go about doing it.  Thank You in advance.

Hi,

This can be done by the CSS files. In 5.0.1 you will see a ToolTip style right at the top of the .css with a width attribute. Bear in mind that if you change the theme file, irt is best to create one with a new name, otherwise it will get overwritten when you update.

Cheers
Roger

Hi Roger,

Thanks for the quick response.  That was what I thought was well but the change did not take effect.  I changed the default parameter "width: 200px;" (under .Eventtooltip section) to "width: 300px", but the tooltip pop up windows remained the same.  Could the parameter also be at another file?

Did you also clear out the cache on your PC. Ctrl+F5 should do the job. CSS gets cached.

Cheers

kjn, in Events 5.0.1. you also need to edit the tooltip.js. In the first line where the div is created you have to delete the inline-style: "max-width:200px;"

In 5.0.2 the tooltip functionality  is completely reworked (with box-over script), that makes it more flexible.

Cheers
Renato
