 Hi

I just tried to install the Chat Module on DNN Ver 5.00.01, but this is the error message i am getting.

 Error loading files from temporary folder - see below

ExceptionSystem.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at DotNetNuke.Common.Utilities.Config.AddCodeSubDirectory(String name) at DotNetNuke.Services.Installer.Installers.ModuleInstaller.Commit() at DotNetNuke.Services.Installer.Installers.PackageInstaller.Commit() at DotNetNuke.Services.Installer.Installers.PackageInstaller.Install() at DotNetNuke.Services.Installer.Installer.InstallPackages() at DotNetNuke.Services.Installer.Installer.Install()

make sure to grant full file system permissions for the dnn installation folder and all subfolders to ASP.Net virtual user ("Network Service" by default).

Hi Sebastian,

 

thanks for that one.That account was already there and was having full rights but i reapplied the rights again and tried to install the Chat module.
Did not work...

any other suggestions
