I am getting the following error when adding a new event in Events 5.0 RC3 running on DNN4.9.2.

It only occurs when adding an event, editing an existing event is fine.

I have tried re-installing but this makes no difference.

However it works fine on my localhost development DNN instance.

Any ideas what could be different?

 

Error: Edit Event is currently unavailable.

Do you have multiple portals on your production site? I did find a bug in version 5.0.0 which meant it didn't support portals other than portal '0' correctly - see this issue - http://support.dotnetnuke.com/issue/ViewIssue.aspx?id=9719&PROJID=11

You could probably work arround this for now by disabling subscription to new event notifications in module settings.

Just had a look, and yep this problem will be fixed in version 5.0.1, which is a couple of weeks away from making into the release process.
