HI Scott,

All database and event updates will happen automatically when you install 5.0.0. As always, make sure you have a back-up of your site prior to the update. Especially for this one, since it is a major update.

Hi,

Im running events 04.00.02 and have a question..

With a repeating event, ought it send a notification each time the event is repeated?

I have a repeating event, and it does not seem to be sending a notification email each day, although the event is repeated each day...

Hi Merlin,

In 4.0.2 the user must request each individual instance of the event. In 5.0.1 we have added the functionality to enable a user to request notification for all instances.

Thanks for your response Roger. 

I was thinking that 4.0.2 is the most current release? and that 5.0.1 is still in beta? - looking again it looks like 5.01 is now the current release?

Ill downlad and test now..

A suggestion. You may wish to wait for 5.0.2 which should beta very soon. It fixes a couple of upgrade problems which you will see threads about on here. It also helps with a performance issue where events with 100s-1000s recurrence are added to the calendar.
