hey,

i want that my signin button do not take me to any new page ,that  username and password text box appear on my page, i try to place [signin]  token there,

first thing is that when i insert wrong username or password it do not show any message (which it usually show when we enter wrong username and password on login page)

2nd when we enter correct username and password it give me error

" Error: Parameter can not be null. Param Name: format"

(but i think it sign me in cuz signin button become signout), also it do not let me sign out

i am using dnn4.9

am i doin somthin wrong ,can any one help me out on this

I do not know why you are getting the errors with the token, but possibly an error on the skin if you are editing the ascx.

You can just place the login module on the page so the user name and password fields display there instead of using a login link.   You can set the module permissions to viewable for unauthenticated users only, so that affter successful login the module no longer displays.
