FCKEditor is adding <p>&#160;</p> to all my empty text areas

Fo example if I create a text/html module edit the text, but don't add anything it automatically puts in FCKEditor is adding <p>&#160;</p> in which causes a blank row on my site.

The real problemis it screws up the DNN blog when and the way the summary works and is also adding blank rows in other modules.

Does anyone know how to turn this off? Any help would be appreciated.

did you try to use FCKEditor provider 2.0.3, I remember there had been improvements, but it has been to long ago, since I tested the new version for release.

I am using the one that come by default with 4.9. How do i check?

With the editor open, toggle into source view and delete the html that you don't want in there, then click Update while still in source view. That's the workaround.

Thanks, that is what I am currently doing, but my users are not so smooth with the source button. I am hoping there is a way to stop it from happening.
