Ok, thanks for that info, Rip.

This does raise another question, though.  Since "child blogs" are a workaround method of showing "categories" in the first place, what will become of child blogs AFTER the upgrade to the next version, since many people probably use child blogs as their categories?

The current back-of-the-cocktail-napkin plan is that we will provide a script to convert your existing child blogs to categories.

The future of child blogs lies in creating hierarchically-structured publications.  For example, a newspaper with Top Stories, National, Metro, Sports, Entertainment and Weather sections.  Think "sections" where there may be different section editors and writers.
