I am stumped on this one!

I have changed the setting under - "Admin" = "User Account" - "Manage Profile Properties" and made fields visable and required, but when I register a new user it still has the same default settings.

Any knowledge or help is greatly appreicated.

what if i added new fields, how would i let the user come back and edit these fields?

By checking the box require valid profile on login you cover that scneario.
