What is the proper configuration of the repository module in order for the search results links to work correctly.  When I click a link to an article, it takes me to the top most article in the repository, not the actual article.  I have the latest version of the module on version 4.8 of DNN.  I have 200 articles in there that I can't get to...

Timster,

If I understand your post correctly and you are talking about the DNN Search then that is, I believe, how it should work as it gives you the tabID of the page with the repository module, without any querystring settings that would allow it to select a single article.

I think you need to be using the Repository Search function which will search within the title and description fields and return a subset of articles that match.

Hope that helps and apologies if I've misunderstood the question...

Graham

I just noticed your reply to my post...I didn't get notified.  Anyway, yes, I was referring to the DNN search results.  Now are you telling me that there is a Repository Search function that I should be using?  Where would that be?  I have a Search Input module that I've dropped on a couple of pages, that is using the DNN search results, no?  How can I set up a Repository search?

I'm still unclear about this statement "the Repository Search function".  I need clarification.

There is the DotNetNuke site-wide search box that will search all Modules that implement the IPortable interface

The Repository module also has support for a 'Search box' that will search ONLY the Repository module it's enabled on. To do so, edit the Header.html template file for the Repository template ('skin') you are using, and add a [SEARCH] token where you would like the search box displayed. At runtime, the user will be able to enter search criteria and 'filter' the records in the repository.
