Ok I have been thru this all. How come I can send test emails and newsletters but the new user emails won't go out. I have read about the godaddy mail servers I have read a million reasons why it won't work and that people have got it to work. SO what am i missing here before i go nuts?!?!?!

please check the configuration of the mail server, wether the logged in user (see Host Settings :: SMTP settings) is allowed to send mails to external users.

Ok see this is the same thing i keep reading. I don't understand how it's the setting of the mail server that would stop new user messages from going out but allow newsletter emals to go to those same users.

Does the domain of the "from" address on the test emails (current host account, I assume) differ from the domain of the "from" address for the portal administrator?  As you noticed, GoDaddy is very picky about its relaying.  It's been awhile, but I don't believe they'll relay in this scenario.

administrator and from address are the same. I can send newsletters out just fine i just can't new user emails out. Telling me it's godaddy email restrictions can't be the problem if what is pretty much spam can go out but a legit single validation email can't.
