Hi,

Could someone tell me where I would find the style sheets that control the size and colour of the text that gets used for categories?  In particular the summary text and the price text.

Also is it possible to add a suffix to the prices to say inc VAT and ex VAT?

Cheers

K.

Style sheets are stored in DesktopModules\Store\Templates\StyleSheet, OR in Portals\[portai-id]\Store\Templates\StyleSheet, if you selected "use templates" when you setup the store.

To add a suffix to the price you need to edit the appropriate template in either DesktopModules\Store\Templates or Portals\[portai-id]\Store\Templates.

Hi Keith,

As Michael explain it, you can add the suffix directly in the template. But, if your web site is multi-lingual it should be better to add the suffix in the coresponding locale resource file. Every strings inside the Store module can be changed/adapted with the standard DNN Language Editor. Login as host and go to Host > Languages, then click on Language Editor (at the bottom left). In the tree to the left, expand Local Resources > DesktopModules > Store > App_LocalResources and click on ProductDetail.ascx. In the right part of the screen on top, select the corresponding locale, then search the resource name VATPrice.Text. Replace the value: {0} by: {0} VAT included or anything your want. Click on Update. That's all!

It would be so particularly appreciated that your messages begin with "Hello" and end with "Thank you" or any other form of politeness. Ask yourself what your reaction would be, if you were approached by me (a total stranger) on the street to ask you something without saying "Hello" nor "Thank you"? After several years of services dedicated to the community, I begin to be tired to read requests without any form of politeness.

Thanks Gilles for the update.  This seems much more elegant and I'll switch over to this method myself!  Better than editing the templates.

Hi Michael,

You'r welcome! Thanks to you for helping users.

Another advantage with the use of the resources, it is that the suffix applies to all templates using the corresponding token. Moreover, in this file it is also possible to modify the measuring units used for the products.
