Thanks for this release (2.1.0), first off, and for restoring faith in the DNN Store Core Module

I'm working with a fairly constrictive template on a site I'm implementing Store on, and while most of the other sub-modules play fair with the tables I notice that the Account sub-module breaks any table I put it in. I've looked through my template files and all seems to be in order.

I wouldn't expect you guys to fix something trivial like this, assuming it's even the modules fault, so I'm looking to fix up the account sub-module to make it fit.  But I can't seem to find the stylesheet behind this ascx file. I see reference to it for the modules DIV (i.e. <div class="Store-Account-Entity">)  But for the life of me I CAN'T find that Class....so question 1 is where is the stylesheet for Account.ascx?

Question 2 and this is probably just confusion on my part. But I see a stylesheet for the minicart (MniCart.css) and also a Cart.css. In Cart.css there is a DIV class for DIV.Store-Cart-Entity. Maybe it's just my install, but I don't have a proper Cart sub-module...should there be one?  My choices are Store Account, Store Admin, Store Catalog, Store Menu, and Store Mini-Cart.  What does the Cart.css apply to?

For the "My Cart" page I have put the minicart and the account sub-modules on the blank page, is there something else that goes on the "My Cart" page? or is the "Account" the actual cart?

thanks again

Hi Michael,

You must think that the Store module is realy complex. Most of his "sub-modules" like Account are build "on the fly" by loading custom control depending on param or user action. This is probably why your table break. If you are a developer, you can install the source version for understand how the pages ar build.

The Div.Store-Cart-Entity. class refer to the Mini-Cart module. Normaly, you have to place the Mini-Cart module on the same page wher you place the Catalog module.

I understand that the data is built on the fly, most data is. What my main question was is where is the class DIV.Store-Account-Entity ?

I have the source, but this doesn' tsem like a code behind issue... it's more liek a skinning problem, just curious where account.ascx gets it's styles from.

Hi,

More than the data, all the module is build on the fly. Then, if you look inside Account.ascx, you will find just a structure with links (My Cart, Order History) on the top and a placeholder. When user click on My Cart, the CustomerCart.ascx control is loaded. This one control the button to display (Loggin, Checkout, Add Item) and load the CartDetail.ascx for display the cart content. As you can see, it's a little bit complex to explain. For this reason, we choose to use more "logical" name related to the sub modules for the css, because generaly a designer is NOT a developer.

Concerning the css, there is only one css file referenced inside the store: template.css. This file is responsible to load other css files (Common.css,  SkinObjects.css, MiniCart.css, Cart.css, ...). Because the use of this structure, you can change everything inside the css even the file names. The only requirement is to have template.css in the Templates folder. This offer the full control to the designer. Then, if you don't like the css file name and how the classes are distributed inside, you can change it!

Because the Store module is a work in progress, sometimes you will find empty classes definitions as "Store-Account-BtnTD..." inside Common.css. On the other hand, you can find a class name defined inside an ascx without corresponding class definition in the css files, this is the case for DIV.Store-Account-Entity. Then, you can define the style for this class where you want in the css files!

Thank You so much for this information.

I can see why I was going crazy looking for an orphaned style!

I can understand that. Unfortunately I do both :/

Again thank you for your time, and for the module.
