I have a feeling I am missing something simple since I don't see anyone else writing about this problem. I installed the beta chat on my site 4.6.2. When I am in as super user everything is fine and works well. Any other user sees the chat dialog (someone: reading) but the control bar, send textbox and send button are all greyed out which makes the chat unuseable unless I am super user and just talk to myself.

What am I missing. Permissions are set correctly.

Thanks

Did you also grant them permission to "Join Chat"?

Remember that "Registered Users" is only all logged in users, not anonymous users.

Hi Stefan,

I have the same problem. How do we grant "Join Chat" permission?

Thanks & Regards,
