Hi everyone!

I have installed the store module. I followed a brief documentation that I found on DNN website. But it looks like the module doesn’t work in the way it should be.

How can I prevent users who haven’t logged in to add any products to the shopping cart? I still want them to be able to see products on my website, but if they want to buy anything they must log in first.

When I log in under different usernames and try to add products to the shopping cart the system doesn’t make any separation between users. I mean products from different users are added to the same shopping cart. What should I do to separate it?

I would appreciate any advice you may give me.

Thank you.

Hi Dmitri,

It's normal. I suppose you use the same browser on the same machine for simulate two users? In this case both users use the same session and share their shopping cart. If you want simulate two users, use two machines or two different browsers (IE and FireFox).

We (team members) are Humans offering their knowledge, their work and their spare time FOR FREE to benefit the community. It would be so particularly appreciated that your messages begin with "Hello" and end with "Thank you" or any other form of politeness. Ask yourself what your reaction would be, if you were approached by me (a total stranger) on the street to ask you something without saying "Hello" nor "Thank you"? After several years of services dedicated to the community, I begin to be tired to read requests without any form of politeness.
