hello everybody,

I am having the same problem when checking out.
Once all the credit information is in and I submit the purchase the error pops up.
From what I read in this thread you need to have an ssl certificate. Is this necessary?
Because isnt it posting to an https dll when it sends the information.

Either way, Any ideas on how to fix the error? I tried enabling ssl on the site. Once I
enabled ssl on the payment page it doesnt work now. it tries to go to an https page

but it never loads.

any help would be greatly appreciated!

thanks

Hi Theo,

If you use the Authorize.net gateway provider, you must use a SLL certificate. It's a requirement from Authorize not from the Store module. Moreover, if you read all my responses in this post you should know that this provider is buggy. You can send me an email to receive the patch.

It would be so particularly appreciated that your messages begin with "Hello" and end with "Thank you" or any other form of politeness. Ask yourself what your reaction would be, if you were approached by me (a total stranger) on the street to ask you something without saying "Hello" nor "Thank you"? After several years of services dedicated to the community, I begin to be tired to read requests without any form of politeness.

Gilles,

I emailed you asking for the patch.  My email is from the technetium.com domain.  I was not sure which place would get checked first by you.  Thansk for your help.

hi, i installed DNN 5.01.04 Source version yesterday on my local pc. Running Vista Ent 64bit.  I am not using https for development purposes only http on localhost.

Then i added the store module and set it up. After that i could no longer compile as VS.2008 SP1 complained about AddressEdit.ascx file. I then deleted the contents of the store folder and downloaded a fresh copy of the DNN Store source 02.01.100. I copied the source into place but the error remained. After alot of searching i found a forum post of the DNN Site that mentioned that i could simple delete the AddressEditFile.

Since doing that i can compile but the store no longer works. When i access the tab with Store Catalog on it - i get the following error:

A critical error has occurred.
Value cannot be null. Parameter name: format

How do i go about fixing this?

Thanks
