I am getting the same error with an identical scenario, although I am testing through SSL.

A critical error has occurred.
Value cannot be null. Parameter name: format

I am using Authorize.Net, test mode, and a test credit card number.

Did anyone solve this one?

FYI. I have been looking through documentation and the forums.  I thought I solved the problem earlier.  My AIM version on Authorize.Net was 3.0 and the version on DNN was 3.1. However, after changing Authorize.Net to 3.1 the problem continues.

Hi Mark,

When your are on the checkout page, can you tell me if the protocol is https?

Gilles

We (team members) are Humans offering their knowledge, their work and their spare time FOR FREE to benefit the community. It would be so particularly appreciated that your messages begin with "Hello" and end with "Thank you" or any other form of politeness. Ask yourself what your reaction would be, if you were approached by me (a total stranger) on the street to ask you something without saying "Hello" nor "Thank you"? After several years of services dedicated to the community, I begin to be tired to read requests without any form of politeness.

Good morning Gilles,

Yes, all my store pages are set to run secure in the page settings, the address bar shows https, and the lock symbol is appearing on the checkout page.

Behavior-wise, after clicking "confirm order" on the checkout page: The basket empties and then I see the aforementioned error message.  If I check my admin email, Authorize.Net has sent me an email indicating a successful test transaction (see results below).

============== RESULTS ==============
Response : This transaction has been approved.
Authorization Code : 000000
Transaction ID : 0
Address Verification : AVS Not Applicable

It appears that the transaction with Authorize.Net is going off properly, but there is some problem displaying the results back from Authorize.Net to the user.  I am not sure what is normally displayed here by the Store module.  Is it supposed to be the receipt?  Or a thank you message?

I wonder if there is a problem with my Authorize.Net setup for the delimeters in the response set.  I am using their defaults, but I wonder what the Store module is expecting.

Hi Mark,

Sorry for the delay but I was busy this days. I work this week-end on your problem. I think of having found the cause, send me an email to glepigocher AT yahoo.fr, I will send you a new set of dll.
