I just installed a store module for Demo and I noticed a couple of  issues should be addressed.

1. There is no link to "Empty / re-set the cart" - This should be an option.

2. If I place items in the cart as one user and log out without completing a purchase, the next user who logs in has the abandoned cart as the default cart..  There should be defaults in the admin module that address what is to be done with an abandoned cart (i.e. retain for X days), but in any case one user should not have another user's cart.

thanks for the work you have done so far.  It looks like you have a good start on a much needed core module.

Im not specialist in the store modul, but ill try to answer.

2) I think there is use of a cookie, i know that there is some code that empty/delete a cookie in PayPal checkout, but it perhaps be a good idea in the future to bind it up against a user id. But again, how many have more than 1 user on the same website - except for system-admin and devs ??

1)  Agree, i have been working a little on the modul, perhaps i should try to see if i can make that function.

Hi,

Normaly this is impossible. We have removed some cookie reminder for security reasons. Could you tell me which gateway provider you use and detail the step by step for reproduce this?

It would be so particularly appreciated that your messages begin with "Hello" and end with "Thank you" or any other form of politeness. Ask yourself what your reaction would be, if you were approached by me (a total stranger) on the street to ask you something without saying "Hello" nor "Thank you"? After several years of services dedicated to the community, I begin to be tired to read requests without any form of politeness.

I set up a demo:

go to http://empulsetech.com

log in: test01 password: testuser01

choose "STORE" under the DEMO menu item.

Add some items to the basket

Check the "DEMO" page for the mini-cart

Log out.

Now, Log in as another user: test02   password: testuser02

the cart you created for test01 is not test02's cart.

I also have some suggestions re: the formatting.  I think that needs some work, but I will be more specific in another post.

Hi,

I understand now! You can't have two Store Account module, even on different pages. Use only one and go the Store Admin module, then select the page where the Store Account module is for the setting "Shopping Cart page".
