Hi,

I know you do your best. Don't worry if you can't send me your modifications for the next release. I plan to produce one release by month.

Your attributes model look good, but I have some questions:

  • What is the purpose of AttributeInfoTabId?
  • You created AttributeValueWeight but why not create AttributeValueHeight, AttributeValueLength and AttributeValueWidth? This properties (Height, Length, Width) already exists inside WWStore and Store.
  • What is the purpose of AttributeValueIsSquishable?

Thanks a lot!

Gilles

It would be so particularly appreciated that your messages begin with "Hello" and end with "Thank you" or any other form of politeness. Ask yourself what your reaction would be, if you were approached by me (a total stranger) on the street to ask you something without saying "Hello" nor "Thank you"? After several years of services dedicated to the community, I begin to be tired to read requests without any form of politeness.

AttributeInfoTabId is gonna be if you have a custom page setup to describe or advertise a certain attribute.   the idea is to provide a "more info" link next to the displayed attribute.  There already is a description field, but sometimes you may want to give alot more detail about something.   It will be an optional value.

AttributeValueIsSquishable is something i usually use to say "this item can fit in a box with other items" (IE: T-Shirt)

I can add in the Attribute Height / Length / Width in no problem.

Hi,

All this seems to me perfect.

One last question, what's your first name?

Gilles

Gilles,

Is it somewhat safe to assume that the WWstore will be more or less the "development platform" for the core store module? SO that the enhancements we see to WWStore will most likely make it into the core modules upcoming releases?

How close are you to 2.1.2?

Hi Jack,

I'm glad to see you again. Yes, you can "see" WWStore as an intermediate release of Store. As I explain in the past, when both versions will be at the same level I will stop the WWStore project.

I can't give you a date for the next release. I do my best, but I have to work for live too. I would love to give all my time to this project, but I am not enough rich to stop working.

God blesses the men of goodwill!

Gilles
