I want to enable a user to edit the store in terms of adding products, categories etc. I created a role called store admin. Added the user to that role and then specified in the module "settings", edit rights for the store module. I did this for each store module (cart, catalog etc)

When the user logs in he's able to see the admin links such as add categories, add product etc, but when he clicks the link he's logged out.

This process works for all my other modules. Is the store module not able to handle this yet?

Let me know if  there is something else I need to do.

Regards,

Patrick

Hi Patrick,

Your users MUST be Admin! This will change in the next version.

We (team members) are Humans offering their knowledge, their work and their spare time FOR FREE to benefit the community. It would be so particularly appreciated that your messages begin with "Hello" and end with "Thank you" or any other form of politeness. Ask yourself what your reaction would be, if you were approached by me (a total stranger) on the street to ask you something without saying "Hello" nor "Thank you"? After several years of services dedicated to the community, I begin to be tired to read requests without any form of politeness.

Actually I just tried the admin user and the same thing happens. Looks like the user needs to be the Host / superuser.

Hi Patrick,

With WWStore 02.00.08 and with the future Store module, users with admin rights can modify products and categories!

Which version of Store do you use?

Gilles
