I am trying to build a product catalog but not a store.  I have used the Store module for DNN and really like it.  Has anyone edited the progs to successfully remove the pricing component of the store in admin and display?  Sure, could use the html/text modules, but the catagories and catalog features of the Store module are perfect for what I need to do.

Hi,

With WWStore 2.0.8, you can delete tokens like [PRICE], [ADDTOCART], etc. directly from the template files (*.htm).

It would be so particularly appreciated that your messages begin with "Hello" and end with "Thank you" or any other form of politeness. Ask yourself what your reaction would be, if you were approached by me (a total stranger) on the street to ask you something without saying "Hello" nor "Thank you"? After several years of services dedicated to the community, I begin to be tired to read requests without any form of politeness.

Hello Gilles,

Thank you for the info.  It appears that you are the one to know.  Question is, where do I "Download the two PA files WWStore_02.00.08_Install.zip and WWStore_02.00.08_SkinObjects.zip." as noted in your other post entitled "How To Compile WWStore 02.00.08"?

Thank you!!  I looked around the DNN site, but could not find the version 2 downloads, I assume since it's not yet been 'approved'.

J

Hi J, ;-)

Your are welcome. You can download the files at www.dotnetnuke.fr, the French Speaking DotNetNuke Community Web Site. Don't be affraid with French, some parts are in English.

The Store module version 02.01.00 is not already validated by the core team! This is why you can't find it.

Hello and thanks agin Gilles,

I did look at the .fr dnn site, thanks for that link!  However not having a clue about any language other than the one I grew up with, I, 1) didn't decide to try to decypher as much as needed to register and/or download 02.01.00 :-(  2) I decided to try the aproved version.  It worked well.

I was able to work around the pricing issue by adding a zero when adding new products, and as far as the display part, I edited the template files by removing the [PRICE] and [PURCHASE] 'tags' so it does not show.  It works.

I will definitely be watching for the release of the module you are working with.  Your efforts will be greatly appreciated and rewarded I'm sure as your project moves though the authorization process for release on dotnetnuke.com.  I'm pretty new with dnn so please forgive my lack of knowledge with processes, etc.

thanks....J
