Hi, I know I'm jumping the gun here, but this is an exciting project.  I develop a lot of sites that require a secure contributions system for credit cards (Grass Roots orgs, Political Campaigns, etc), with a simple form (regulated by law) for required data collection about the donor.  No shopping baskets... just a form and a secure submission.  Could this module be used to for such a thing?  Also, will it require that people register on the site to make a purchase/contribution?

Thanks Sebastian... I'm in need for something that handles secure credit card processing for donations though because most contributors to these types of things would not be willing to go the paypal route.   With all the popularity of paypal transactions these days, it's sometimes surprising to realize that many, if not most people can't use paypal for direct business related transactions (or at least find it difficult for accounting purposes) -- one of the reasons snowcovered is so popular.

So far, I've been using Catalook pro, and stripping everything down to a single data form and credit card entry.  I've always felt this was kind of a waste -- purchasing a good, but massive overkill solution only to strip it down to the barest of functionality.  I should probably ask the maker of catalook if I could fund a modified version specifically for this type of purpose.  You would think it would be very popular since it could probably be used for straightforward "Buy Now" type functionality as well.
