I downloaded the store module.  I created a catalog page and a store admin page.  I would like every page in the site to have a store menu with all of my categories, which i have done.  When I go to the settings of the store menu, there is an option for catalog page...perfect!  Thats what i was hoping would be there.  Intuitive enough, but it does not seem to work, at least the way i would think.   It seems I can only put a menu on a page that also has a catalog module.  Is there any way to actually utilize the catalog page setting, so I can browse to my catalog page from any page that contains the menu?  Is this a known issue?   I havent found anything in the forum concerning this.  Thanks!

Hi,

Which version did you download?

It would be so particularly appreciated that your messages begin with "Hello" and end with "Thank you" or any other form of politeness. Ask yourself what your reaction would be, if you were approached by me (a total stranger) on the street to ask you something without saying "Hello" nor "Thank you"? After several years of services dedicated to the community, I begin to be tired to read requests without any form of politeness.

I have exactly the same problem in version 1.00.01.  I suspect that the answer will be "wait for the next version".  in the glimmer of hope that someone has found a work around for this issue,  is it possible to have the store menu module on more than one page with the store catalog module on only one page?  This would require clicking on a category within the store menu causing a redirect to the store catalog page as indicated in the "Catalog Page" setting within the store menu module.

Hi David,

You are right, the answer is "wait for the next version".

But: Store 02.01.00 has now officially entered the release process and would be released soon.
