I installed the TrainCert ECommerce free module some time ago and am now needing to set it up...I also installed Store, which is causing more problems than I have time or talent to resolve.

Anyone working with the TrainCert module? It looks easy, but to start, I can't even find the way to set up the information for linking to our merchant services. We use authorize.net. I can put a product in there and when I click on "Buy Now", it doesnt go anywhere. I've tried to enter merchant info in the payment settings within host and admin settings, but it doesn affect anything.

This module looks simple, but not clear on how it proceeds to checkout and payment processing after selecting a product from the list. I dont need a bunch of catagories...we only have four products, so I think this would work fine.

I need to get a shopping cart running QUICK! Any help would be much appreciated.

Hello:

I am not familiar with the traincert module, but I can tell you if you are looking to integrate a free (and more importantly SIMPLE) store module into DotNetNuke, look to integrate the WWStore module (which you can find by searching for the 12+ page long WWStore Module announcement thread). It is a SIMPLE but COMPLETE solution based entirely upon the core store module (compared to the core store module which is not complete) and has the Authorize.NET Provider, as well as several users on these forums who can help answer most any questions you have about the module.

I seriously doubt you will see any updates to the core store module for some time: if you do build a store using WWStore, because of it's simplicity and the fact that it is based upon the original core store module, you should be able to utilize it using a professional developer to assist you in moving the data from the WWStore_ prefixed tables to  the core module's prefix ... (if you didn't get that don't worry... just that the author of the WWStore module re-prefixed all of it's database objects such that they wouldn't interfere with the 'real' core store module.. you won't have any naming conflicts running the two modules in the same installation of DNN).

In any event, good luck in your efforts, and if you need any paid support for the module, please feel free to email me.
