I have downloaded from http://www.xd.com.au/ a dnn light gray skin with containers.
I have downloaded from http://www.apollo-software.nl/ a sample blue skin (no containers)

I bought from apollo software the pagelocalization software.

I have modified from the above mentioned skins and the skin included in dnn 4.3.7 a “new” skin

 

The new skin is modified with de tokens needed for the page localization.
The new skin has the same looks like the skin of xdnn light gray.
With the new skin, I use the xdnn light gray container.

The modified skin and containers works fine.

 

The mix of those entire skins works fine (I think !!!).

So I decided to build a completely new skin with matching containers.
For that purpose I downloaded the skinning document.
I read that the example in this document is the same skin they use in DNN version 2.
It is a document of 70 pages and not easy to read.

So here are my questions.

The skin and containers I use right now are doing fine, is it wise to rebuild everything or is it better to leave it as it is ?
Is the skinning document up to date as guide to build a skin for dnn 4 ?
