Does anyone know if it's possible to upgrade to a newer version than DNN 7.0.6 on Godaddy's Plesk hosting?
I can say that so far, I have not found a way to install any newer versions, but cannot seem to be able to upgrade either.
       Any ideas?
 Thanks, Jeff....

Hi Jeff,

I believe you can. Before you upgrade, make sure you backup all your files and database first. Then, you can try to upgrade. If you have problems, you better ask your prvoider

I suppose you have already resolved this? Anyway, I run DNN 902 at godaddy plesk and have not experienced any problems regarding the hosting so far... // John

I'm considering GoDaddy for an upcoming small project -- did you just install 7.0 through Plesk and use the Upgrade Wizard to get it up to date? Or did you manage to install 9.0 directly through Plex?

I installed 9.0 directly by uploading the DNN 9.0 zip file. Then extracted in the godaddy folder and just run the dnn installwizard... I had to change some folder security settings first through the godaddy ftp ui. Anyway, when all settings were correct I had no issues...
