Hi all DNN users,

I am pretty new to this DNN and would like to ask few things regarding Events module for DNN

1. I have added an events module on my home page and i have set the default view to List view. Add some events there. I need a small link at the end of the events list which says "For more events ,click here".  How do i achieve that?

2. I have created  a page where i have inserted the same events module in that page? I like to link that "For more events ,click here" to that page. I want this page 's default view to be a month wise. But this events module follow the defautl view of the event module that i have added on the main page. How can i achieve two diffrent view of the same module in two diffrent pages as i want the  same events to be shown on both pages but on main page list view and on events page month view.

Hope i have made my self clear. Please suggest.

Thanks

Hi Noice,

Welcome.

  1. You could either just add a text box (HTML module) below with the link, or since you are using a list you could potentially use the Repeater view (configured in List View settings) and add the link in the footer. For repeater I have provided a pretty simple template for the body, so you may wish to alter that to your need. Templates are configured in Template Settings.
  2. For your Month View, have a look at the sub-calendar settings here - http://dnnevents.codeplex.com/wikipag.... Essentially have the calendar you add events to as your master calendar (eithe your list view or your month view), then add it as a sub-calendar to the other calendar. All the events from one module will then be displayed in the other.

Cheers
Roger
