If you walk down the screen when putting in a new event, filling in all options that apply, the text entered into the FCK editor for the actual event description will disappear and default back to the original 'Enter Description here' text if you modify any of the options below the FCK editor. It appears the postback is not maintaining the content of the FCK editor.

Really a pain in the rear, if you know what I mean...

The only way to get the text to remain is to either do that portion of the event after ALL options have been set, or re-edit the event and put the text in a second time. Somebody needs to fix this. Releasing code with a major bug like this is not helping the DNN reputation at all...

This appears to be to do with an AJAX conflict between FCK Editor and some of the other controls. In 5.0.3 we have made a change to turn off partial rendering for the edit control. You can do this by editing the module definition. Just edit the Edit Control in the Events Module Definition in the Host menu, and untick the Partial rendering tick box.

Cheers
Roger
