I just installed Events Module 05.00.02. No Errors during installation but If I open the Module Settings following error appears:

DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. ---> System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at DotNetNuke.Modules.Events.Settings.LoadSettings() at DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.Modules.ModuleSettingsPage.Page_Load(Object sender, EventArgs e) --- End of inner exception stack trace ---

Any Idea?

Thx & Regards, Silvio

Hi Silvio,

That doesn't give much to go on, but I'll try to do some guessing as to what may be causing a problem!! Not seen this as an issue before. May be the week-end before I get a chance to look.

Cheers
Roger

Hi Silvio,

Can you try running this query and seeing if all rows come back showing complete - last column. There should be at least one row.

select * from {databaseOwner}{objectQualifier}eventqueue
where attributes like '%DotNetNuke.Modules.Events.EventController, DotNetNuke.Modules.Events%'

Cheers
Roger

I am getting the same error and I ran that Query and there are no rows in the table.  Should I add one?

Was this a new install, or an upgrade?

Thanks
Roger
