When an Event is edited and subsequently used to create a new event (Use Copy to New Event) a problem frequently (not always) occurs: The Edited detail text is not always used in the new event. Frequently, the detail text of the original event is kept. (Using Rich Text Editor for changing detal event text)

This may be to do with order you edit things on the edit view. I think there may be an issue with editor where when you change something else, the text gets reverted. Could you try it a few times and check whether the text is correct when you click the Copy button. If it is we have a bug (just not sure where...).

Cheers
Roger

Hi Roger;

Have tried again as you suggested. Tried about 50 times. Occasionally edited text does not get updated. Seems to be related to the 'copy date'. When I try to reproduce the problem once it has occurred by repeating same set of steps, i cannot get it to fail again. Then again, it may again happen later. Leads me to think that it may have to do with some timing issue. Definitely related to the automatic refreshing of the edit text after changing date. Will try to reliably reproduce later, but no luck for now.

Hans
