The enroll link has behaviours that change depending on whether the event is paid or not (see cmdSignup_Click, line 543 of eventdetails.aspx.vb).

My users have found that the standard "Enroll in this Event" link hard to find and discern on the details page.  To respond to that, I place the Paypal logo and some choice words there instead (customizing the localization value SureYouWantToEnroll).

The problem with this approach is that when there are Free events, I then have to instruct folks to click on the Paypal logo and calm their concerns that some hidden fee will ensue.  What would be nice is for there to be a separate localization string for SureYouWanttoEnrollFree that would appear on free events (some minor changes to the resx file and to code in eventdetails.aspx.vb around line 210 would be nice.

Thanks for the consideration.

Hi,

Could you raise this as a request, it looks like a good idea.

Thanks
Roger
