I added the module to the RC1 (The withdrawn version) and I cant add events.

I can with US language but not with Swedish language. I get this error.

Hi Jan,

Yes we do do substantial testing, unfortunately it is not possible for us to test this in all languages. Your installation has highlighted a language specific problem we hadn't hit before, and yes we ave tested in non-english languages.

You can work-around this for now, by editing EditEvents.ascx. In there you will see a date encoded as 01/01/2000. If you change this to 2000-01-01, this will now work for you. I'm trying to work up a more permananent fix as we speak.

Jan,

I was able to sucesfully install the events module and add an event to v4.9.4, v5.0.1 and v5.1.0.605.

Perhaps something with your environment?

I dont use the module, just tested it. The solution you propose will work if I only use Swedish language not if a user use other languages like US.

In a date intensive module like Event and in all modules for that matter its important that test with languages that use different date types.

To add hardcoded dates in a module should not pass any tests in my opinion.
