Hi all,

I don't know if it is possible.

I want to include in the same page two different instances of the same Eventes Module, so I could set up one of them with a Month View and the other one as a List View and thereafter I could define his skin (or Theme) independently.

If I include many times the Events Module I can do it but they manage different Events data, not he same one.

If I copy an existing events module (1) I can not copy directly in the same page because you can only copy one existing module to another page(2) I can not manage them independently. Any change in the module configuration affects in the same way to every instance of the events module.

How can I do it?

It seems that the new 5 version of this module will manage this question more efficiently  Anyone does know it this question is finally solved with this new module version?

Best regards

Juan de Dios

Hi Juan de Dios,

You need to use the sub-calendar functionality within the module. Use one as your master calendar where you enter data, then include it as a sub-calendar in the other instance of the module. The data from the first calendar will then display in the second, and you can set different views on each instance.

The thing that has changed in version 5 is that you can apply different skins to each instance of the module, in version 4 this didn't work, it only every used one skin across all instances on a page.

Cheers
Roger
