I suspect this is related to the change to daylight savings time, but I have a site with many event calendars, and it has recently come to my attention that events downloaded to Outlook are off by one hour.   Eg.  An event on the calendar is scheduled for 1:00 p.m., but when downloaded to Outlook is appears as scheduled for 2:00 p.m.

My time zone is Central time (-6).

Do have have to manually change all the calendars to -5 during daylight savings time? Or is there some other way to manage this problem?

Thanks for any advice.

Hi Jill,

A recurring nightmare is the issue of DST within .Net v2. Your best bet is to change the module instance timezone by an hour in the module settings, and then use the edit timezones menu item to update all existing events to -5.

Sorry, but there is no easy answer to this problem. I am having the same issue with the DNN Forums, because the DNN site is hosted in  the US, presumably in a location which has changed to DST, whilst the UK doesn't move to DST until the end of March.

FYI: I submitted yesterday a draft to implement DST support in DotNetNuke 5.1, which will require .Net 3.5 that allows us to use Windows Time Zones.
