Issue 1

I set up an event spanning a 23hr period begining @ 2:00pm and Ending at 1:00pm and set it to repeat weekly on a Monday and Tuesday.  I did receive the desired results and it showed the correct end date/time as Wednesday @ 1:00pm.  I then turned on Enrollment and went to a couple event dates and enrolled.  I can browse back to the dates I enrolled, and I get the You are enrolled in this event message.  I went to the edit screen to verify the enrolled users.  I see my enrollments on every event date, but there is no way to determine which dates I enrolled from the edit view.   I would think that there should be a way for an admin to dertermine which users are enrolled in which events and if those events reoccur, which dates the users have selected to enroll.  The edit display appears to be global in nature in that you can see all users that have enrolled at any time, but there is no way to break them down by event date.

Issue 2

Hi Jack,

Issue 1 - As a simple fix for now, I have added the event start date to the list of enrollees on the edit events page. If you want this ahead of time, it's just a change in the ascx, so I can give the details if you need them.

Issue 2 - I spotted a bug which meant it didn't show the enrollees if the sub-calendar was set to not allow enrollment. I fixed this. You could argue that if the sub-calendar doesn't allow enrollmenty, then you shouldn't be able to enroll, but this isn't how it works now, so it would introduce a breaking change to how this functions. If anyone sees it as a real requirement it could be added as a enhancement in the future.

These fixes are not in RC2, but should make it into the final release.

Roger,

Thanks for the quick response on these issues.  I might just take you up on your offer to acquire the fixes prior to release.  I will continue with my evaluation of the current RC2 and see if I come across any other issues, based on our intended use.

Jack,

I can offer you the patch for Issue 1, but not Issue 2. Issue 2 is all in code, and will come out when we release a formal package release.

I have an issue around Enrollment that seems similar to the one discussed in this thread.

My site has two Events modules.   The first module is set to month view.  The second module is in list view and uses the first as a subcalendar.  All events are added only to the first module and enrollment is enabled and working great. The issue comes is with the second module.  When a user clicks event title to get details the option to enroll is not available.

I have found that if I enable enrollment on the second module then the enroll option becomes available in the detail view.  However, a new issue appears.  Choosing My Enrollments from the second module reports back "No Enrollments found".

The preferred solution for me would be to have the enroll option available in the detail screen.  Such that it is based on the enrollment setting of the module that owns the event instead of the one displaying the details.  A reasonable alternative would be that the My Enrollments screen would include enrolled envents from the linked subcalendar.
