Hello,

 I have used DNN Framework(latest version ) in my project.I have used DNN's (Blogs,Discusion Forum,Events and Happenings module) and i use my custom module i'e "News & Views".But when I search my custom module(News & Views) data in search field,It's not searching. It show all information when I click on "News & Views" but if i search any information regarding custom field, it can't search.

Can any body help me to make my Custom Module data Searchable.

Same problem happening with DNN modules like((Blogs,Discusion Forum,Events and Happenings module)

These data also can't be search through search field.

Plz help me, What setting I have to do ?

Hi Nibedita,

DotNetNuke's core modules implement the ISearchable interface correctly, but the search tables are not always up to date, it depends on the frequency you set in the Scheduling for the indexing of your portal. Your custom module, instead, should implement that interface to be searchable. This link by Michael Washington will explain clearly how to do it:

Also remember that when implementing this interface you can choose what content to include in the searches, this mean that some content may be excluded, and will not be found in searches.
