I'm using AvCalendar for events and I have one event that occurs on the 10th and 25th of each month unless those dates are on the weekend. My question is this: Can a create a recurring event for those days and then individually move the dates that fall on the weekend to either the previous Friday for following Monday? My problem is that these events (Board Meetings) must fall on workdays.

Sorry, right now there's no easy way to this with the current Calendar module.

...stay tuned though.  We're working on better performance and re-structuring the application in order to accomodate these types of exceptions.  We will provide an upgrade path!

Thanks for the suggestion.  This is exactly the type of feedback we need...these type of features should be in the base module.

Cheers,
   Alan

I want to put an event that occurs all week with one entry and have it recurr for 5 consecutive days with the title spanning the five days.  Did they ever provide a solution to your question?  Mine is a bit different from yours, but along the same lines.

Currently the only way to handle this is set the Event Start/End date to the beginning date/time and ending date/time....It will look on the calendar as though the event is continuous...otherwise you can set the date/time for day 1 and then repeat it for the next 5 days!  This is supported in the new events module (due to be released in April)...you can download a preview at www.avanced.net

I set the Event Start/End dates and it appeared on the calendar as a one day event only.  It did not appear on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday..... I would like the words Spring Break to appear across five days.  Possible?
