I have to agree with you that there does not seem to be a decent chat module for DNN. I have been playing with imesserchat but it is so not good. It would be fine if it had any kind of working administration. Like the ability to kick a users or delete a post. While it seems to have some of that built in I for one have been completly unable to find out where to moderate it from. I have not yet looked very closely at swirl chat but you all have scared me off of it. This is really surprising that we do not have a working chat module for something as big as DNN. This has to be the very first thing I have run across that I can not do with DNN but can with Joomla (arrgg I hate saying that name) LOL.

I bought SwirlChat from snowcovered for 3 days ago : it doesn't work with DNN 5.4.1 !!!
On localhost, It's working great with IE but not with Firefox and Chrome.
On my server, a dialog always mentions AjaxPro is disabled although settings enabled it correclty. So, i can't use it.

Congratulations to SwirlChat that I can't join since friday. I hope getting an answer today because week-end is finished...

It's been a week since I bought the product. I spent several hours to debug it and I have sent numerous e-mail to Swirlchat support. I got a response that solved partially the malfunctioning due to IIS7, but today, my chat still does not work with Firefox and Chrome. I asked SwirlChat to cancel my purchase if he could not solve my problem, but my payment was cashed anyway ! So very, very disappointed...

I'm not sure what you want to say, but this is the link for the line needed in web.config for IIS7 :

(see post of 4/16/2008 by Will Gillen)

Now the chat is working successfully for me. It didn't work before with Firefox or Chrome due to my skin Minimalist by Nukeville. With MinimalExptroy, it's working great.

Bye.
I never had answer since this day from SwirlHost support.
