Hello,

I'm new on the chat module and i'm trying to change these captions:

Anonymous Is Reading and Joined

I've been tyring on the module files and I can't find where to change this. In fact, when I go to chat module settings i can change when users join the chat and leave it, but none of them have an effect on the "joined" caption, it always says "joined" even though default value is "[entered]".

Can anyone help?

Thanx.

I have read through the thread based on this error:

Compilation Error

Description: An error occurred during the compilation of a resource required to service this request. Please review the following specific error details and modify your source code appropriately.

Compiler Error Message: BC30002: Type 'Web.HttpContext' is not defined.

Source Error:

Line 307: Line 308: Try Line 309: Dim ctx As Web.HttpContext = Web.HttpContext.Current Line 310: Dim lvstrImageRoot As String = String.Empty Line 311: oCache = ctx.Cache.Get(key)

Source File: E:\inetpub\vhosts\monroetech.com\httpdocs\App_Code\Chat\DnnChatCodeHelper.vb    Line: 309

I made the change to line 309 as suggested (by adding system) but this did not work.  My site has been down for 7 hours now due to the install of DNN Chat.  I even tried to delete the module through ftp but the error remains?  Can anyone help?  Thanks.

There is an incorrect access for core methods, which requires a new module version. The module team has been informed about it.

Thank you for the response Sebastian.

I am a huge fan of DNN and the brilliant people who work hard everyday to improve and enhance it.  This particular issue is/was quite concerning to me as my clients's website crashed due to the install of DNN Chat.  It took a very long time to get it up and running again.  I understand when modules don't work properly or are buggy, etc. but to crash a site?  eeesh.
