Sorry for the delay - I had to review the current security changes in the build that was released. Its a little non-intuitive, but to be certain of maintaining security regardless of the edit user, I originally made it so that the connection string was ALWAYS stored in the web.config file. And, in addition, it uses the SQL Client for executing the connection. So for you to be able to connect to an external database - add a key under appSettings in the web.config. Name it something like "MyMapConnection" and then in the Custom Connection - set the value to MyMapConnection.

Hello Kevin

I have managed to get this part to work, but I can't get a session variable to work. Any ideas would help.
