I am trying to set the view roles for the toolbars in FCK editor. I am both the admin for the site and the host. When logging in as either host or admin I try to set the view roles under the "show custom editor options". Everytime I try to chnage the permissions and apply to either the instance or the maodule the settings are not retained. When I go back into the custom editor options the settings have been restored to "all users" on all toolbars.

Any ideas on how to resolve?

Thanks in advance.

I think I've run in to this too. Seems like there are times when it takes on the first try and times when it doesn't? My experience was always some combination of not making the proper selection to apply the setting to the portal/module/instance, not actually clicking on the checkmark to save the changed permissions, and not applying the changes. I also have made conflicting selections at the top for settings applying to portal/module/instance but then applying them differently at the bottom, if that makes sense.

I also wonder whether exiting out of the module settings, clearing the cache, and restarting the application might help?

None of these are particularly technical suggestions, but I know I've run in to the same problem you've outlined and found success. Good luck!
