i'm building an application for a customer where the members need personal stores on 1 portal.  members need to also manage their own payment and shipping process -- sort of like the way eBay does it.  will this be possible with the store module or will it be easy to do with an extension or simple module changes?

as long as i've used dnn i haven't tried the multiportal functionality.  my customer projects thousands of members would thousands of portals bloat and slow the system?  i also have a personal use for this member stores functionality.  i'm building a community site, OTBRadio, for underground music artists with dnn.   i'd like to enable members to sell music online.  multiple portals would not work in my existing architecture.  i have all my members on one page and changing the content of the modules based on quertystring and i was planning on using the same type of architecture for my customers ebay site.

is dnn scaleable for thousands of portals?
